Leicester Tigers S&C Coach Volunteer Intern (Apply Now!)

Leicester Tigers Academy are offering the chance to become involved with their Developing Player Programme (DPP) and the DPP coach development programme. The roles are available to current university students for the 2015/16 season and are a fantastic opportunity to gain Strength & Conditioning experience with rugby union. Interns are needed at a number of venues within the region, including Market Rasen and Newark. We have had students in this programme for the last two years and they have had a really positive experience, taking on leadership roles.

Become A Lincolnshire Sport Event Maker (first deadline: Aug 24)

Lincolnshire Sport are currently recruiting Event Makers, volunteers who will support Lincolnshire Sport and their partners in delivering sport and physical activity events across Lincolnshire. These events will include: School Games Level 3 multi-sport festival, Lincolnshire Show and Market Rasen 10k.

This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in supporting sport within the county, develop contacts and gain sports development experience.

Applications to be in the first cohort of Event Makers should be received by Monday 24th August 2015, and Event Maker training will take place on Saturday 5th September 2015 at Eco One, Ingham.

Communications Coordinator, One Step Beyond (Deadline: Aug 31st)

One Step Beyond, who run events such as the Outlaw Triathlon, the Triathlon Relays and the Cambridge Half Marathon, are looking for a Communications Co-ordinator.

Based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, the role’s primary objectives include raising the company’s profile in the triathlon and running marketplace and increasing race entries across their portfolio of events. There will be a requirement to attend events, exhibitions, trade shows and to visit partners.
