Fitness Instructor, Priory Academy LSST (deadline: 14th May)

The Priory Academy LSST are seeking to appoint a fitness instructor to work as part of the health and fitness team at the Academy.  The role will include planning and implementing fitness class programmes, inducting new members and overseeing the health and fitness suite.

Hours:15 hours per week / term time only (38 weeks)
Hours of work will consist of midweek sessions 3-6pm. Weekend hours may be available also.

Salary: SCP14 – £16,781 pa pro rata £5,620 pa
Role: Permanent
Start Date: September 2018
Deadline: Monday 14th May

The ideal candidate should hold at least the Level 2 Fitness Instructors award (but class instruction qualifications are not needed).  In addition it is desirable that health and fitness related qualifications are held.

Applicants should have a sound knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and should demonstrate a genuine interest in a career in the health and fitness industry.

Exercise Physiologist: North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (May 18th)

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue are looking for an Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping people improve and maintain their fitness. The successful candidate will report to the Group Manager Staff Risk and will be responsible for maintaining a fitness testing regime enabling staff to successfully fulfil the contractual obligations of their role providing support and advice to staff in relation to maintaining fitness levels as appropriate.

Salary: £29,055 – £30,756

Work at Football Camps in Spain (June/July 2018)

Inglaterra en Casa camps are football training programmes delivered in English to Spanish children by coaches provided by Sunderland AFC. Camps are run in Alicante and Asturias in June and July, and Monitor, Teacher and Assistant roles are available. Staff support students with their football, English and general well-being.

USA Summer Camp Presentation, November 23rd

The team from USA Summer Camp will be on campus to talk about opportunities at their camps:

Synergy Sports are looking for a coach to deliver five After School clubs. The sessions run from 3 to 5pm and include football, dodgeball etc.
 
Essential: Level 1 NGB + relevant experience
Desirable: Level 2 NGB + experience working in primary schools
Pay: Rate of pay dependent upon qualifications
