Coaches can apply for bursaries of up to £150 to help with the costs of courses etc. More details on the LSP website (where you might recognise the venue where the photo was taken!).
Note: you will need to join the Coaches and Instructors Network (Lincolnshire Coaches Network) first, which appears to be free at the moment.
There will be a brief IMPress meeting at 7pm in the Coach Education Suite, after the sports therapy talk.
There is a lot of exciting news to share, and some new student officers to introduce to you! Please attend to find out more about how you can get involved and how IMPress can help you. Everyone is welcome!
Following a request at an IMPress meeting, Cathy Thomas will be holding a talk on PGCEs on Wednesday 6th November at 9am in the Coach Ed Suite.
The talk is open to any students who are interested in applying for teacher training.
Gary Benson from the Sports Therapy Organisation will be giving a presentation in the Coach Education Suite at 6pm on Thursday 14th November. This should provide a valuable insight into the sports therapy profession and clarify the qualification/placement/employment options which may be open to you as you progress through your undergraduate studies and beyond. There will also be an opportunity to ask Gary any specific questions you may have about working in the industry.
The talk is open to everyone, but please email Danny Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend.
