Video, Coach and S&C Roles at Lincs FA Girls Centre of Excellence

Lincolnshire FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence have a large number of volunteer opportunities for the 2014/5 season. Up to three volunteers are needed in each of these areas:

1. Coaching: Support qualified coaches in the delivery of the coaching syllabus.

2. Video Analysis: Video games/training to assist player development through video analysis/de-brief.

3. Strength & Conditioning: Support the S&C lead in delivering a programme of S&C, and provide 1-1 support to nominated individual players at an elite level.

The roles will be based at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School and will be supported and mentored by qualified coaches.

Teach Sport in Italy This Summer (Deadline 31st July)

English Theatre of Europe are looking for English-speaking sports teachers to support an English and drama summer school for one week in Tuscany. You will be responsible for teaching classes of approximately 15-20 italian primary or secondary students, with the emphasis being on learning through fun activities. You will be required to help students work as a team. You will explain the rules of the games and names of pieces of equipment in English and encourage the pupils to learn the terminology and speak in English throughout the session.

Sports Physiology Support, Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club

Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club are looking for a volunteer sports physiologist to support their performance squad on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. The position will include the opportunity for data collection and development of recovery sessions and personal programmes.

Primary P.E Specialist Coaches, Synergy Sports (Start: Sept 2014)

We have received the following notice of coaching positions available from Synergy Sports, to start in September.
Full time positions – £14,000+ per annum dependant on experience and qualifications

Part Time positions –  £10.00 per hour ( minimum of 15 hours)

Synergy Sports Coaching are leading providers in the Sports Education market, delivering services to over 40 primary schools within Lincolnshire. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic sports coaches who will be able to provide Primary Schools with high quality Physical Education. The successful candidate will need to be able to deliver the National Curriculum for P.E to the whole primary age range. They will also provide support to schools to develop an extra-curricular programme that improves the quality and quantity of participation. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of customer care, so in addition to your coaching responsibilities, you will be expected to build and develop relationships within our customer base.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum NGB Level 2 qualification
  • Have experience of delivering coaching sessions to Primary school children within a school setting

  • Enhanced DBS check upon employment starting
  • Full Driving Licence and access to own transport
  • The ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions
  • An understanding of effective pupil behaviour management

Activities Leaders – XUK Camps (Summer 2014)

XUK camps (residential and day) are still looking to take on Activities Leaders at their camps for this summer. They need enthusiastic individuals with coaching experience and passion! The camp runs for six-weeks starting in July and allows leaders to take charge of sessions; from rifle shooting and quads, to the old favourites like football and rounders. They will get to experience working with Juniors (5-7), Intermediates (8-12) and Teens (13-17), from here in England and further afield, including Europe and Asia.
