Opportunities Fair, November 27th (Human Performance Centre)

The School’s annual Opportunities Fair will be held on Tuesday 27th November in the Biomechanics Lab. We have invited a number of our local partners – external and internal to the University – to promote opportunities with them and to have the chance to meet and speak with you. You can attend at either 5pm or 6pm: at both start times each exhibitor will give a quick description of their activities and roles you can get involved with, and then there will be time to speak with them individually. Subway subs and cookies will be provided!

The following exhibitors – with websites linked – are confirmed, with the possibility of a couple more also attending:

Active Lincolnshire

Positive Futures

NK Activities

Lincoln City Foundation

Voluntary Centre Services

Lincoln Minster School

SU Volunteering Team

SU Activities (SPOTS & COTS)

UoL Sports Centre

UoL Careers & Employability

Lincoln City FC staff cannot attend because of a fixture, but I can update you on their internships and there will also be news of other School opportunities.

This is your best chance to find out about extracurricular roles and projects you can get involved with – either this year or next. Most of the roles will be voluntary, but some students have obtained paid positions from last year’s event. Please take advantage of these organisations all being in one place for you, with only our School’s students attending. The exhibitors’ activities span sport, exercise, education, health and many other areas…so there should be something of interest for everyone.
