Positive Futures Lincolnshire are seeking to employ a new member of staff on a permanent contract working from their Skegness site helping embed the Positive Futures model into the local community. The role is to engage young people aged 8 to 24 years in sports, physical activity and other positive activities as a basis for broader social development.

Salary: £21,962 – £24,174

Social Sports Activators & Sport Ambassadors, Univ. of Lincoln

The Students’ Union have a number of sport-related volunteering opportunities:

1) Social Sports Activators: one each for football and basketball, responsible for arranging and overseeing social games (1-2 hours per week)

2) Sport Ambassadors: help to grow participation in one of these sports – Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Hockey or Lacrosse (approx 4-5 hours per week)

Both of these offer a great opportunity to gain experience of sports development, project management and event planning…on campus!

Coaching Disabled Footballers Course, Lincoln

Lincolnshire FA are delivering an FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course, Saturday 16th September, Cherry Willingham School, 9am-4pm.

The course itself runs over a 1-day period for 6-hours; this will cover both theory and practical elements of delivery throughout the day and should you wish to gain further hands-on experience beyond this 1-day course there will be opportunities to link in with local clubs within your area.

Course Prerequisites: Minimum 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Football

Coaching & Performance Analysis Roles in Lincoln with VIRSCO

VIRSCO are looking for suitable candidates for two roles:

1) Paid position: a Level 1 or 2 coach to join their coaching team (which already includes a number of our graduates and current students). Details of their coaching services are available on their website.

2) Voluntary position: Performance Analyst with Lincoln City FC Academy. This role will cover 20 games, and each game will require about 3 hours of analysis.
