Multiple Positions at Grantham Town Football Club

Grantham Town Football Club are extremely interested in progressing University Students and their own Students/Footballers within the 16-18 programme at the club. They have announced a number of positions for the 16/17 season, working on a voluntary basis, which would be excellent for extending your knowledge, skills and experience.

The positions are voluntary but successful applicants may be able to benefit from support towards travel costs and the fees for relevant coaching courses etc.

The roles available are:

Psychologists

Physiotherapists

Performance Analysts

Nutritionists

Strength and Conditioning

Football Coaches

Goalkeeper Coaches

Journalism/Media

Grantham Town are keen to provide you with relevant practical experience and have excellent facilities in partnership with 1life, including a 3960-capacity stadium, athletics track, classrooms, gym, swimming pool, conference rooms, 3G football pitch and grass pitches.

School Sports Challenge, Volunteer Opportunity (July 18th)

An opportunity to gain valuable experience in schools and enhance your CV has arisen, through volunteering with VIRSCO and Lincolnshire Sport at their School Sports Challenge on July 18th. You will be required to run a section of a sports day at Newton-on-Trent School and will be taking down scores for a school-wide competition.

Costs of travel and expenses will be covered, although you are more than welcome to travel there with the VIRSCO team if you would struggle to get there otherwise.

Number of Positions:    5-10

Type of Position:     Voluntary (expenses to be covered)

Deadline:    31st April

Open to:    All Students

Requirements:    Up to date DBS

Performance Analyst Opportunities, Lincoln City FC Academy

Lincoln City FC Academy have an opportunity for students to help film their U16s for the rest of the season with a view to continuing next season. This role would be perfect for 1st and 2nd years who are looking to get involved in football performance analysis. The person/s would need to be available for most Sundays between now and the end of April and initially from September if possible (or when they return for the next year).

Students who have worked in similar roles with the Academy before have had very positive experiences, and have gone on to work or Masters programmes in the area of Performance Analysis.

Alongside this,there is also an opportunity for one or two people to work with the U18s next season.

Full-time Coaching Positions, Synergy Sports Coaching

Synergy Sports Coaching are currently looking for Full and Part time Sports Coaches, Multi Sports Coaches, PE Teachers, PE Coaches and Primary School PE Coaches in and around the Lincolnshire area to join their team.

The expected start date for these roles can be between 1st April 2016 and 1st September 2016, although there will be an opportunity to start earlier, should the right candidates apply.
