Leicester Tigers Academy are offering the chance to become involved with their Developing Player Programme (DPP) and the DPP coach development programme. The roles are available to current university students for the 2015/16 season and are a fantastic opportunity to gain Strength & Conditioning experience with rugby union. Interns are needed at a number of venues within the region, including Market Rasen and Newark. We have had students in this programme for the last two years and they have had a really positive experience, taking on leadership roles.

Communications Coordinator, One Step Beyond (Deadline: Aug 31st)

One Step Beyond, who run events such as the Outlaw Triathlon, the Triathlon Relays and the Cambridge Half Marathon, are looking for a Communications Co-ordinator.

Based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, the role’s primary objectives include raising the company’s profile in the triathlon and running marketplace and increasing race entries across their portfolio of events. There will be a requirement to attend events, exhibitions, trade shows and to visit partners.

Project Officer, Lincoln College (deadline: 10th August)

The Project Officer will be based at Lincoln College and the Lincolnshire Sport office in Ingham, and their role will be to deliver the Lincoln College Athletic Union Project by designing, developing and delivering a programme to increase student participation in Sport and Physical Activity. The project is funded by Sport England. The successful candidate will need outstanding organisational skills and be able to communicate with all partners working on the college site and in the network.

Duration: 2 year contract

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £14,000

Sports Physiotherapist Vacancy, Harrowby United FC

Harrowby Utd F.C., based in Grantham, are looking for a sports physiotherapist for their men’s first team. They play in the Chromasport United Counties Premier League on Saturdays.

The position will pay expenses and would be an excellent opportunity for a student to get “hands on” experience, complementing their studies and providing a good stepping stone for future work. The details of the role and its responsibilities will be discussed with the successful candidate.
