Opportunity to Gain Experience in Health Promotion and Care!

Third-year PAHD student Jess Slater is recruiting student volunteers to help facilitate a 6-week health screening service for staff which will run at the university from Thursday 26th January – Thursday 2nd March 2017.
The screening service will include measurements of blood pressure, anthropometry, spirometry and grip strength.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain experience in health promotion and/or health care. The experience will be particularly beneficial to those wishing to study the Exercise Prescription for Health module at year 3 as it will provide a great insight into health screening procedures, allowing you to confidently work with real-life clients.
The service will run on campus every Thursday from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Full training will be provided (week commencing 16th January 2017). Although preferable, you do not have to be available for all 6 weeks of the programme. If you are interested in this opportunity or have any questions, please contact Jess (13464707@students.lincoln.ac.uk).
