This position is a voluntary position and the successful candidate must have an FA Level 1 coaching qualification however Lincolnshire FA are committed to supporting them in funding for further courses i.e. Youth Module 1.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the sport’s development on campus and in the community, while receiving mentorship from Lincolnshire FA staff and support in acquiring further qualifications and experiences.
Note: this role led to employment with Lincolnshire FA for last year’s activator.

//England Squash & Racketball are offering students a fantastic opportunity to be trained as a student activator. The training will cover skills that will help you organise, plan and deliver activities more effectively in any sport. Workshops will cover topics from practical facilitation of sessions to setting up online leagues etc. We have been invited to send up to four students, and you can attend training at a Squash Innovation Day in either Hull (on September 25th) or Derby (October 12th). Attendance is free of charge, but our places are limited to four so please contact Peter Fozard to apply for a place – or request more details – as soon as possible. His contact details are on the Innovation Day flyers.
This opportunity is open to any of our students, including those who started this month! There is no set criteria/skill level behind the type of person they are looking for, just a passion for getting more people actively involved in squash. You do not have to be a high level squash player, for instance.
//St Peter at Gowts Primary School in Lincoln are looking for a coach to help their girls’ football team with training sessions between 3.30pm and 5.00pm on Tuesdays.
Applicants must have an FA Level 1 coaching certificate and a current DBS is preferred.

Returning students: hear about the wide range of opportunities that are available this year.
We are also keen to hear from all students what types of support they would like IMPress to provide, and in what areas. There will be an opportunity to become involved with running and steering the group, including the possibility for some paid work.
Both sessions will be held in the Coach Education Suite and all students are welcome to attend either:
Tuesday 29th September at 5pm
Thursday 1st October at 4pm
