University Football, Badminton & Netball Officer Positions

Sport at Lincoln are recruiting Higher Education Officers to be volunteer leaders whose role will be to help assist with the development of either Badminton, Netball or Football around the University (there’s one position in each sport). The successful candidates will also be required to also take lead the casual badminton, football or netball sessions. On average the role will take about four hours of voluntary work per week, but it’s flexible and will be fitted around the person’s studies.

This is a really good voluntary opportunity for anyone wanting to go into sports development work later on: the current HEOs have had the chance to attend national conferences and training days that have been paid for by the NGB: the Football Officer has been to St Georges park on a number of occasions and has also given a presentation to fellow University football officers at a recent national conference whilst the Badminton HEO has had her Badminton Level 1 paid for and officiated at the national BUCS Time Attack festival in February. The Netball Officer will have similar opportunities.

More details of the posts can be found on the SU Volunteer website:

Application deadlines:

Netball – 27th April

Badminton – 15th May

Football – 15th May
