Video, Coach and S&C Roles at Lincs FA Girls Centre of Excellence

Lincolnshire FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence have a large number of volunteer opportunities for the 2014/5 season. Up to three volunteers are needed in each of these areas:

1. Coaching: Support qualified coaches in the delivery of the coaching syllabus.

2. Video Analysis: Video games/training to assist player development through video analysis/de-brief.

3. Strength & Conditioning: Support the S&C lead in delivering a programme of S&C, and provide 1-1 support to nominated individual players at an elite level.

The roles will be based at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School and will be supported and mentored by qualified coaches.

Full details of the roles and how to apply will be available soon via the University’s Sports Volunteering Opportunities page, but please let Sandy Willmott know if you might be interested in the positions. The S&C volunteers can start as early as Tuesday 5th August, for example.

 

Sports Physiology Support, Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club

Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club are looking for a volunteer sports physiologist to support their performance squad on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. The position will include the opportunity for data collection and development of recovery sessions and personal programmes.

Sports Massage Therapist Needed, Lincoln Vulcans Swimming Club

Volunteer Coach for Golf Xtreme, Lincoln (July 7th and 14th)

A volunteer coach is sought to  deliver two Golf Xtreme sessions to young people aged 11-16. These sessions are based at an academy within Lincoln on Monday 7th July and Monday 14th July between 2.30-3.30 pm (with a little time to set up and pack away). If interested, there is also the potential to do further coaching.

You do not need specific golf coaching qualifications, but experience of coaching sport/leadership is preferable. Experience of golf is desirable but not essential as all training and guidance required to deliver the sessions will be given.

Sports Week Assistant, Reepham Primary School (June 23rd-27th)

Reepham Primary School are looking for a 3-4 students to assist and support their sports week which starts on the 23rd June and finishes with sports day on the 27th June.

This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly school environment for those wanting to gain experience for teacher training applications and will be a fun and exciting week for the children. If you’re interested you must have a recent CRB or DBS, be available to work the whole School day from 8:50 to 15:30 for the specified week and be willing to assist the children in the different activities offered as directed by school staff.
